A 10-story residential building also caught fire, further complicating the emergency response. Firefighters acted swiftly to evacuate the residents and extinguish the flames inside the building. In other parts of Izmir, several homes have already been destroyed by the fire. Local authorities have highlighted the extensive damage in these areas. In the nearby city of Manisa, 1,500 people were evacuated due to the approaching fire.
