Queenstown widely regarded as the adventure capital of New Zealand. This small town, nestled amongst the mountains of the South Island, offers an endless array of heart-stopping activities from jet-boating to bungee jumping and everything in between. This short film aims to capture that sense of adventure combined with the beautiful scenery of the city and surrounding landscape. The miniature tilt-shift effect compliments the fun, energetic nature of Queenstown, as well as emphasising the scale of the environment to show just how small it can make you feel. Shot over 5 days in summer, the town’s numerous vantage points made it the perfect place to capture a miniature time-lapse. Shooting locations included the Skyline Gondola Lookout, Coronet Peak, The Remarkables Road, Crown Range Road and Arthurs Point.
