Terrific debut from this new danish horde. Thunderous, proudly old school Black Metal. Hateful hymns of occult sorcery and pagan fury, with excellent songwriting and great transitions, no weak hooks or tricks here. Primitive riffing hammering through the opposition, with a similar punch and delivery as various Korpsånd Circle acts, while the vocals spit forward vile scorn and spite. The pulsating bass is also very present in the mix, pushing through with some great basslines as in the third track, “Slangeild“ and the stormy lead guitar adds a lot to the scandinavian epicness and bulldozing riffage. Absolutely stellar material, very much in the vein of early DSO, Zahrim and the danish collective. Self released on cassette format.
