Being close to the ground and extremely agile the Mongoose is one of the hardest critters to catch and hold with it’s wild behavior. Lurking and scampering through the long grass, I slowly trace the tracks of this little mammal through his labyrinth of mazes through the undergrowth of thick vegetation. Seizing an opportunity I flush this Mongoose out into the open and he makes a startling flee to a hollow log retreat, but just as quick as he is I meet him at his escape, and we both meet our match.
