🇷🇺 Western sanctions have given a powerful boost to Russian railroad sector development, representatives of Transmashholding, Russia’s leading railroad equipment production, have told Sputnik. The company is presenting the Ivolga electric train at the International RUSSIA EXPO, which started on November 4 in Moscow. Its exhibition offers guests a driving simulator, which future Ivolga drivers go through. All train components are said to be 100% manufactured in Russia, in the city of Tver. Ivolga is characterized by a high level of comfort and energy efficiency, surpassing in all the features many of its foreign competitors, the company said, adding that the train is used on urban, suburban, and interregional routes.
