Unfit Ass., aka Unfit Association, were an Hungarian thrash metal band by the time they released “Without Chances“, their debut demo, that a couple of demos later started playing death metal. The band was active from 1990 to 1997, having released 4 demos and 1 LP. “Without Changes“ is very mid-tempo, the band rarely introduces faster riffs or drum playing - which is very irritating because the guitar always sounds like its going to ramp up the intensity but then it goes back to exactly the same tempo. This almost foreshadows the natural evolution of their music into death metal, along with a couple of blast beats and the already harsh screams that easily would fit into a late 80's/early 90's death metal album. If you are looking for blazing fast music, “Without Chances“ is not for you, but if you just want some mid-tempo thrash proto-death metal to chill a little this is pretty much what you are looking for.
