Bass Angelo Masini-Pieralli (1874/77–19??) was born in Tuscany. He studied with Corrado Pavesi Negri and made his debut as Rodolfo in Sonnambula at the Teatro Sesto Fiorentino in 1898. In Italy, he sang in the major houses of Palermo, Parma, Turin, Milan, Rome Venice, Bologna, Fiume, Breschia, Verona, and Naples. He sung the role of Gurnemanz in the Italian premiere of Parsifal. He also had a major career in other European cities: Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Lisbon and Oporto. In South America, Buenos Aires, Valparaiso, and Santiago. He sang in the first major Verdi Festival at the Teatro Regio in Parma in 1913 and also sang in Paris with the Diaghilev's Ballet Russes when it presented Cimarosa's Le astuzie femminili. .....................................
