Shots of the Queen attending the historic ceremony of the presentation of colours to The Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders. M/S of the Queen walking with a man in uniform inspecting the Highlanders. She talks to various dignitaries. The Duke of Edinburgh accompanies her, as does Major-General Douglas Wimberley. L/S of the royals walking across the grounds of Balmoral then stepping up onto a dais. The parade presents arms. Shot of audience looking on. Queen and Duke walk from the dias to take the inspection.
