Nobel Peace Prize laureate and Former Finnish President Martti Ahtisaari has been a peace mediator in many conflict areas around the world. Now, he has taken up the challenge to reconcile the vicious conflict between birds and pigs on Piggy Island. A truce between birds and pigs has been signed for the duration of the 2014 Ahtisaari Days, an event held November 11-13 highlighting the importance of peace mediation.
