Test run of DIY Altec based Horn system. Same concept seen on JE Labs site. I had some Jensen CN-100 speakers in the garage that sounded terrible, so I ripped out the guts and used the box for the Altec 414z woofers. The baffle is just some 3/4“ MDF cut to fit. I used the same basic 1st order crossover JE uses on his set up. The woofers run full range with no coil. Amplification is an old Eico HF-81 rebuilt. Phono stage is a CJ PV6.
