But so has Arrakis changed, it has drifted farther away from its sun becoming colder in the process. Most of the species on Arrakis have gone extinct, but some explorer's claim that the sandworms are still out there with alleged sightings. After being forgotten for over five million years the only remnants of humanity left are the various ruins. And some say you can still hear shifting sands in the distance as Shai-Hulud... awakens...
