In this small portion of the composition, Rama sees Sita for the first time. He sees her standing at the balcony of the royal household and wonders who the moon-faced damsel is who looks at him as if there has been a connection in past life-times(referring to the divine consort Mahalakshmi). This is an excerpt of the famous padam from Ramanatakam composed by Arunachala Kavi.
