Kabardian Night Assault - Single by Hagauj. Traditional circassian song about one of the episodes of Russian-Circassian war which had a place to be in the year of 1779 on the river of Malka. The small party of the best youngsters of Kabardian nobility were surrounded by the superior forces of Russian troops and cavalry. They refused to give up and were destroyed under cannon shells of Russian artillery. The battle lasted more than seven hours. This feat were honoured by the song which has been well known since then until nowadays. Performed and recorded by Hagauj in a studio live session. The music video was made afterwards on that track.
