Mr. Hekayati“ is not merely an EP; it's a collaboration that intertwines tradition with modernity, curated by visionary artists Ali Farahani and Satori. Ali Farahani, deeply connected to his roots, breathes new life into cherished childhood tales, while Satori, a master of sonic exploration, adds a contemporary twist that elevates the music to a masterpiece. Djordje Petrovic, better known as producer Satori, is a musical nomad who makes a wide array of different sounds. He has played everywhere from London to NYC to Paris and can do slow and deep or more tech edged as well as everything in between, but always with a unique sense of soul and spirituality. He has worked in the past with labels like Crosstown Rebels and DGTL and many many more. Featuring vocals by Sam Vafaei, Mr. Hekayati is a superbly fresh track that brings in elements of tribal, Afro and deep house. The synths dance an elegant dance as they move about the scales and the percussion helps move the groove onwards while the soul comes from the spellbinding vocal. This one is sure to make a huge mark this summer and beyond.
