MEGARAPTORANS are a mysterious group of theropods. Their fossil record is at the moment quite limited, and their evolutive origin is still not completely certain; although at the moment they are considered Coleurosaurs, related to Tyrannosauroids. Unlike most theropods, Megaraptors feature well-developed forelimbs, with large claws that might have been their primary weapon. Their fossils suggest they were extremely agile, and specimens like Murusraptor seem to have had a large brain for a theropod.
