Today I'm back in the darkroom tackling an all-time classic of photography, the cyanotype process. Often one of the first alternative photographic processes people try, this is a fantastic UV printing experience for beginners. There's also plenty of variables and nuance for the seasoned veterans of the darkroom to fiddle around with to achieve the final print. The formula I'm using is based on the “old“ cyanotype process:
