BEING is a confusing word. This is because it has multiple functions, including as part of a verb (is being, am being, are being, was being, were being) to describe a behavior or attitude or to show a passive continuous action (is being given); it can be a gerund (being happy is important); it can be a participle (being tall, John made the basketball team); or it can be a noun (human being). In this video, we look at all these functions, with sample sentences, so that you can apply them correctly in your writing. ✅ Don’t forget to visit my website, for more useful materials, samples, and see our Idea Banks (full of useful vocab): ✅ Check out our exclusive IELTS Writing Self-evaluation Guide, which contains 40 writing samples, including summaries and essays with full edits, comprehensive notes, and full analysis and score. ⭐ ⭐ ✅ You can also follow us on Instagram and Facebook. 🔸 🔸 Want more reading and writing practice?
