Here are some clips I've put together from my main video on my website painting both a botanical and wildlife subjects at the same time in watercolor. This lovely bumblebee on the prairie mallow violet flower was lovely to paint with such light and delicate washes of colours. Keeping the painting light to begin with will help you gradually build up the layers, eventually giving you a transparent, realistic feel to the painting. Take your time though, you should never rush a painting.
