Mongolian shamanism is one of the world’s most ancient traditions. Anthropologists believe that it came to the Americas with the earliest wave of migration across the Bering Strait. Mongolian shamans today very closely resemble the medicine men of the native tribes of the American Southwest, especially the Apache and Navaho.
