Breakdown of the storm tide sequence in TV-documentary ZDF “Terra Xpress“, episode “Was stört im Wald und nagt am Deich“ (). Created in Cinema 4D, rendered with Physical Renderer. Water was animated with Wave Deformer and HOT4D, a.o. Foam was created based on inverse Ambient Occlusion. Reflections on the water caused by 8-bit textures were turned into HDR-like dynamic by my QuasiHDR workflow (shading only). Compositing was done in After Effects.
