Shooting the AR 57 full auto submachine gun This is honestly one of my favorite platforms to shoot, and I wanted to redo the video that I made a while back. The AR57 company is no longer in business, but when they were, they made complete rifles, carbine length upper receivers, and a short barreled receiver as well. The full auto bolt carriers were made in a small batch and I was lucky enough to get two of them. This platform allows for the ease of operation and functionality of the M16/ AR15 platform, while allowing the use of the NATO cartridge with P90/ PS90 magazines. The gun is incredibly flat shooting and the longer barrel length gives the round a bit more muzzle velocity than the short barrel of the P90, increasing its effective range to about 450 meters. It fires at a rate of fire of about 750 rounds per minute, and the spent casings eject down through the magazine well making it a great gum for both right and left handed shooters.
