Nikolai Miaskovsky: Symphony No. 16 in F Major, Op. 39 Konstantin Ivanov conducting the USSR State Symphony Orchestra Recorded c. 1950-51, and first issued in 1952 as a set of five 78-rpm records, CCCP 021261/70. Reissued on LP, c. 1960, as Melodiya 33D-09415-16 (my source), coupled with Ivanov's recording of Miaskovsky's Symphony No. 21, which has been uploaded separately. Miaskovsky's Sixteenth Symphony, completed in 1936, is in four movements: 1. Allegro vivace 2. Andantino e semplice (at 8:08) 3. Sostenuto; Andante marciale, ma sostenuto (at 15:23) 4. Tempo precedente; Allegro ma non troppo (at 25:13)
