The video recording of my master-concert at Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. Set in Rome 1623 AD, the who-is-who of Italy's musicians meet for a musical party with song and dance at the palace of Francesco Barberini: Giovanni Kapsperger, Girolamo Frescobaldi, Dario Castello, Adriana Basile, Galileo Galilei and Ennemond Gaultier. The scenic interpretation was conceived by Lukas Henning and complies to “Historical fiction“: Though the events and dialogue on stage are made up, they are based on historical evidence.
