One of my favorite tunes since I was a kid, I was obsessed by the Nat “King“ Cole version (on LP) so much I wore the grooves out. “Angel Eyes“ is a great, dark, bluesy standard written by Matt Dennis who also wrote “The Night We Called It A Day“ and many other beautiful tunes. They just don't write 'em like this anymore... The backing track is from playjazznow, They've got some really nicely arranged tracks that are a little classier than the usual “Play-Alongs“.
