Velvet Meadow brings a new psychedelic pop single “Ive Come To Realize“ which is track 3 off his upcoming new psych pop/rock album coming 2024 “Never Want To Leave My Head“. During the year of 2023 Kris Heironimus was struggling for inspiration for his new album. He spent two months just listening to his favorite artists, and experimenting with self taught production tricks. After blasting the Beatles Magical Mystery Tour, MGMTs Congratulations, PONDS The Weather, and many other amazing psych artists he took a new direction with his music Focusing heavily on sonic textures as well as pop lyrics and melodies. “Ive Come To Realize“ pushes the boundaries of mainstream pop norms as well as progressing the indie soundscape deeper into the unknown. Paired with this single is a remaster/slow tape version of this song. He dusted off his old Tascam 388 tape machine and ran the track through it pitching it down to give it another lofi esk shade of color.
