Aurora “Rory“ Block was born 1949 and mostly done singer-songwriter-blues records since 1971 when Chrysalis Records decided she should have a go at a disco record in 1979. They teamed her up with Bobby Eli in Philadelphia for an album that was half his material, half Rory's own songs. The album did nothing upon its release and remained Rory's only foray into disco music throughout her career, but it is well worth checking out. Backing vocals by the legendary Sweethearts of Sigma, Barbara Ingram, Carla Benson, Evette Benton, who provided backing vocals for so many artists on hundreds and hundreds of recordings in the 1970s and 80s. 00:00 You're The One 05:29 Askin' For More 08:48 Someone Like You 12:42 I Can't Believe In You No More 15:30 Please Put Out The Fire 20:58 Love At First Sight 26:22 If I Can't Have Good Love 30:04 Movin' Up, Movin' Out
