Kim Hyun Joong is currently unstoppable and definitely UNBREAKABLE. The Covid pandemic did not halt KHJ and his career. This crisis actually drew out the best of KHJ and highlighted his resilience and strong motivation to strive for more amidst some difficulty. And this is certainly what makes KHJ UNBREAKABLE. So it was just appropriate that his 2013 hit song Unbreakable concluded Season 2 of his Music in Korea series. The original video was already impressive enough but when the MIK 2 version of Unbreakable debuted last Friday, July 2, Henecia was caught with their mouthe agape. The opening of the video showing KHJ entering the gates of the temple was literally dramatic. The combination of traditional Korean percussion music called Samul nori and modern musical instruments resulted in a powerful, beautiful melding of sounds.
