Joe was one of the biggest names in jazz guitar. Joe started playing guitar at the age of 9 and at 14 he played in professional ensembles when he was still in high school, among others with Tony Pastor's band. He played with Charlie Barnet in 1947 and then went into military service. After being discharged, he spent the 1950s grappling with a drug addiction, having even spent time in prison for it. In 1962, drug free, thanks to a rehabilitation job at the Synanon Foundation, he returned to the music business (or rather, he joined, since until then he was almost an unknown). He played with Gerald Wilson, Les McCann, George Shearing, Benny Goodman, Ella Fitzgerald, Count Basie, Duke Ellington and Dizzy Gillespie Personnel: Joe Pass - guitar Bob Magnusson - bass Joe Porcaro - drums ✔ Have a nice day and listen! ✔ Share this video with your friends! ✔ Also don't forget to click on the bell to know all the news! ✔ You can list
