HENDRIK KRUMM (1934-1989) is the greatest Estonian tenor of all times and one of the most remarkable singers of the now so called “Golden Era“ at the Estonian National Opera (from mid-1960s until the late 1980s). Like his colleagues also Krumm had to pass his career behind the “iron curtain“. In Estonia and the Soviet Union he was appreciated for his powerful voice and “secure“ high notes, convincing acting and charm.
