BORKUMRIFF IV, built by Royal Huisman in the Netherlands in 2002, bears the exterior profile of a classic schooner, a look that will make every sailor’s heart beat a little faster. She was delivered by a shipyard that is widely regarded as one of the greatest for large luxury sailing yachts. Built for worldwide cruising, this fast and seaworthy yacht embodies the golden age of yachting. She has only ever been used privately and has been maintained to the highest standards. Reminiscent of the Newfoundland schooners used to hunt huge cod off the coast of north America, the yacht measures metres in length (including her bowsprit) and has a sail area of 1,164 square metres across her two masts.
