A village family cooks “Sheleh Zard“ and local flour for Iftar! Today is the ninth day of Ramadan in Iran, which coincides with the New Year and Nowruz Eid in our country, that's why my mother and I decided to cook “Sheleh Zard“ and local unleavened bread for Iftar. Sholeh Zard is one of the famous desserts of us Iranians, which is cooked on religious occasions and shared among neighbors. Its ingredients are fresh natural rose water rice, Iranian saffron, almond slices, and pistachio powder and cinnamon are used to decorate it. To prepare the rice, we ground some of it using a stone mill and put it on the heat for cooking. To see more details and how to cook “Sholeh Zard“ and Fatir, watch the video until the end and support our channel with likes and comments.
