Using Polish sabers to try to interpret Heussler's cutting plates from his 1627 rapier/rappier manual. Plate 1 = The image doesn't match the text. The instructions are to, when cut to the outside, advance the right foot, parry with the strong of the blade, then use the left hand to grip the opponent's right arm.
