DIG Heidelberg presents 'Being Human' - a thematic Bharatanatyam concert by Karuna Sagari. In the last year and a half, the pandemic in a profound way has united us, human beings, beyond our immediate surroundings. Our search for love, community and companionship is similar to one another. Our vulnerability due to the looming uncertainty is akin to one another. Our search for purpose in life continues despite our mundane struggles, no matter where we were born. Karuna Sagari presents a Bharatanatyam concert that celebrates the gift of being human. The concert will feature two Tamil poems by Poet Subrahmanya Bharati, an 8th century Sanskrit Composition - Jagannathashtakam - and a Tillana composed by the Violin Maestro, (Late) Lalgudi Jayaraman.
