Midland 79-290 CB radio expanded to 10 Meters Amateur Radio

My Midland 79-290 that I picked up on EBAY for a little over 100 dollars a few days ago. I’m pretty happy with the radio. I am getting good modulation reports. Rig only putting out stock 12 watts and around 8 watts on the 10 meter band SSB. It’s a small radio that can fit in places that other CB’s can’t. If you need 11 meters and 10 in one radio this might be the one for you. I picked up Version 1.1. I don’t have the SSB modulation problems that others have mentioned on various forums.
