London Calling arr. Gabriel Prokofiev | Fretwork

Here’s an arrangement of The Clash’s ’London Calling’ by Gabriel Prokofiev from our upcoming Albion project. Albion is a celebration of British music past and present, combining the timeless sound of the British viol consort with modern synthesisers, drums, and electronics. Led by composers Orlando Gough (’The World Encompassed’) and renowned composer and DJ Gabriel Prokofiev, the project will feature new compositions and arrangements of a huge range of British music from William Byrd to Gustav Holst, to The Clash, Radiohead, and Napalm Death. This will be a unique project exploring issues of cultural identity, nationalism, and diversity.
