Citigroup To cut 20,000 Jobs in Next 2 Years, CEO Calls it “Turning Point” Citigroup has announced a job cut of 20,000 workers after booking losses worth over $1.8 Billion in the fourth quarter. The Banking giant will be slashing 10 percent of its force. Meanwhile, CitiBank in Mexico will cut 40,000 jobs. Citigroup says that operations in Russia and Argentina hurt their earnings.
