Group of small speedboats, powered by outboard motors, speed away from the start of the race. Long shot from banks of river as the boats speed off under a large bridge. A few spectators sit in the foreground. More shots of the boats going by. Spectators stand close to the camera. The boats turn tightly around a buoy in the river. Good shots of the boats skimming across the surface of the river as they turn. The commentator describes it as a dangerous sport ’and an easy way to break one’s neck.“ One of the racers overturns his boat at high speed.
