No titles. Comedy act Tom Payne and Vera Hilliard. Probably filmed in Pathe Studio, London. Fade in to shot of a set dressed to look like a corner of a fancy ballroom with chandelier. Payne, dressed in top hat and long coat enters from one side, Hilliard, in a short, flounced-skirted dress (typical 20s style) enters from the other, as if they are mingling at a party. He asks if they've met before and she says “I've never been to the zoo!“ They carry on crosstalk about whether she knows his people and he asks if she will go out with him. C/U of Payne as he says “What a gorgeous creature!“. He remarks he is glad that longer dresses are coming back in, as now a girl will be able to get on a tram without making a man lose his place in his morning paper. Hilliard comes back on, dressed in Victorian costume with a feather head-dress and huge bustle. Payne makes a few quips, then they stroll around to some piano music. He invites Hilliard to sit down on a small sofa and she has a bit of trouble
