Pedro de Palm represented Mejiro Gym, he finished all of his fights by submissions and was undefeated in MMA. His opponent was Joop Kasteel, the mountain of a man who made his first steps in MMA in Dolman Gym together with the legendary Bob Schrijber. A few years later he won against such well-known Russians as Roman Zentsov and Yuri Kochkin, but this time he came to the fight having a three-fight winning streak. According to the rules of this promotion, punches to the head were forbidden, also the referee can count the knockdowns. It was no problem at all for the fighters who demonstrated the brutal KOs at every Rings Holland event.
