Sudan Accepts Russia's Invitation to Its Historic Arab Summit, Sudanese Embassy Says Russian Ambassador Andrey Chernovol delivered the invitation at a meeting with Sudanese leader Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, according to a statement by the Sudanese embassy in Moscow. The meeting focused on: ⦁ development of mutual cooperation between Sudan and Russia; ⦁ the course of bilateral relations, and ways to develop and strengthen them; ⦁ issues of mutual interest and the latest developments in Sudan. Putin has earlier invited all Arab League leaders to the first-ever Russia-Arab Summit, set for October 15, aimed at promoting peace, security, and multi-dimensional cooperation across the Middle East and North Africa.
