Shooting with reloaded cartridges: 345TK: - bullet 9,4gr; - brass - coated steel from subsonic; - smokeless powder Irbis-35 - dosage for each cartridge; - primers KV-16N and KV-16N ’Magnum’ (tells no difference) Environment temperature: 4 C The Target: a steel gong - 14cm diameter Distance to the target: varies between 50, 70 and 90 meters It’s worth mentioning that I have been using reloaded cartridges with which I experimented with different dosages of the same sort of powder. Using Irbis-35 smokeless powder I realized that its energetic is significantly higher than with Luger-M 9*19, hence I would recommend to load Irbis-35 in the next dosages: For really silent shoot: (by this volume - you’ll get a really silent shoot where only lock is heard, but a bullet’s flight velocity plummets down remarkably) When dosage exceeds - you will get a rather loud shoot with a perceptive recoil, however - bullet’s velocity increases significantly as well as its penetrative capacity; The Golden MIddle - 0,19-0,20g - you will have a rather silent shoot, but bullet’s velocity remains in range between 290-310m/s and a quite gentle recoil. I call this dosage “Golden Middle“ since it keeps the noise level down without loosing a decent penetrative capacity.
