This is one of several comedy shorts Thelma Todd and Zazu Pitts did for Hal Roach Studios. It’s set in a Taxi Dance Hall, where Thelma is a hit, but Zazu is not doing so well. She’s coached to dance naughty just as the morals patrol arrives. There are lots of interesting details of early 30s popular dance, as well as the truths you can glean from satire.
