The SoaringTortoise orchestra welcomes a new member. The Koma Elektronik Field Kit. Today's performance includes: The Koma's DC interface being pulse modulated by a kb electronic music instrumentation modular synthisizer via the envelope follower trigger out. The DC interface is driving a DC motor that is rubbing against an unconnected reverb spring pan which has a contact mic wedged in the springs. The contact mic is plugged into mixer input four. (Koma)Mixer input three is being fed by an home made audio oscillator set to drone which is being modulated by the envelope output. Mixer input two is being fed by an electric lap steel guitar with fuzz and delay. Mixer input one has the output of a DIY tape delay/loop unit plugged into it. The input of the DIY tape delay/loop is being fed by the Aux output of the Koma. Music Concrete? More like Music Quicksand.
