In past tutorials I've gone over how to make halftone patterns by tracing various images and design elements, but for this lesson we'll be making a simple gradient out of halftones. There's no dedicated feature for this in Inkscape so we will have to design it manually using tiled clones applied to a standard linear gradient. Want to learn more about how Inkscape works? Check out the Inkscape Master Class - a comprehensive series of over 50 videos where I go over every tool, feature and function in Inkscape and explain what it is, how it works, and why it's useful: 🔗 RESOURCE LINKS Official website: Get 200 free design templates: Get my premium logo templates: Upgrade to the latest version of Inkscape here: 🎓 EXPLAINER COURSES Inkscape: Affinity Designer: GIMP: Adobe Illustrator: Take my logo design workshop: 📷 STOCK IMAGERY I use graphic templates from 123rf for all of the thumbnails and headers that I design for my various channels and websites.
