Leaders with the G7 held an emergency meeting on Tuesday, after Moscow carried out its largest assault on Ukraine in months. The G7 leaders pledged more financial and military support to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.  Russian President Vladimir Putin said the air strikes were in response to the attack on a vital bridge that serves as a supply route between Russia and Crimea. On Tuesday, the Russian President also met with the International Atomic Energy Chief Rafael Grossi about the nuclear plant in Zaporizhzhia that Russian Forces control. The UN nuclear agency is pushing for Kyiv and Moscow to agree to a demilitarized zone around the nuclear plant.
