The Mind of Humility! “Put on, therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering.“ Colossians1:21. The mind of humility is like a water droplet that quietly blends in with the ocean while still being an individual part of the whole. Brethren, the humbleness of mind is a very good sign of a Christ-minded believer. Humility means submission; it is not a form of groveling. As Christians, we must have a humble mind, as displayed by our Lord Jesus Christ. Humbleness of the mind creates peace and unity with others. A high-minded and proud person does not express humility through the mind of Christ. As Christians, we should be able to accept correction and remain lowly in our own eyes; as Christians, we are to seek to please God with our lives. We need to fear Him and keep His word.
