This song is actually based on a real story that happened in a LARP: one of Tevildo's sorcerer-cats came out to a meadow to play his flute. The meadow was next to Doriath location, and some young unwise ladies decided to come out and dance to it. That was somewhat against canon, so eventually Elu Thingol himself was bound to appear and, having chastised them for the folly of trusting a random cat, chased them back under the Veil. Illet made a song about it and of course I could not pass it. And yes, there is a mouse in my palm at the very end. Harp, flute, bells, voices.
