Arabuko Sokoke Forest - Kenya - Last chance to see

Day trip to Arabuko Sokoke Forest to take the last chance to see the endemic and endangered Golden-rumped elephant shrew (Rhynchocyon chrysopygus) and the Sokoke scops owl (Otus ireneae). We were lucky to see both of them. The tour was guided and well organized by Willy Kombe from Spinetail Safaris. We were picked up a.m. at Severin Sea Lodge, Bamburi Beach Mombasa and had a 2h drive (100 km) to Arabuko Sokoke Forest. We were back at Severin at 5 p.m. Tagesausflug in den Arabuko Sokoke Forest, um die letzte Chance zu ergreifen das endemische und gefährdete Goldrücken-Rüsselhündchen und die Sokoke Eule zu sehen. Wir wurden um Uhr an der Severin Sea Lodge abgeholt und hatten eine 2 stündige Fahrt (100 km) zu dem Arabuko Sokoke Wald. Nachmittags um 17 Uhr waren wir wieder zurück in der Severin Lodge.
