Whoever said that countries with Muslim populations don't have nightlife... One would expect Tashkent (the capital) to have nightclubs, and it does! Boasting a large foreign population and so many tourists, Tashkent is far more liberal than anywhere else in Uzbekistan, and its nightclubs have the ordinary mixed public. But outside Tashkent... there's still nightlife, but the population is a whole lot more “proper“ and only men indulge in such freedoms. To entertain them, nightlife establishments take some interesting steps...
