“Gato“ Alexander Dovgopoly Project Live‼️ at KozlovClub .💥 At the time when I was coming up with this composition - it was necessary to come up with a name, and since the music of Gato Barbieri sounded on Radio Jazz, at some fleeting moment an association arose with a certain manner of this artist and I marked the title as - “Gato“ so as not to forget what I meant. But, this was not some kind of dedication to the musician. Well, I liked the name in itself.) We came up with an introduction during one of the concerts - we needed a bunch between songs and I decided to experiment, turned on several loopers and began to play and apply different sound timbres in real time - that's what came of it. (By the way, in the middle part there are real night summer crickets - I wrote them on the street, somehow on a warm summer evening) ✨
